- You manage operational procurement and ensure efficient, cost-effective and timely processes.
- You are responsible for the implementation of SAP S/4HANA in procurement and actively drive the further development of the system and related processes.
- You analyze procurement markets and manage RFI and RFQ processes to identify suitable suppliers and sourcing approaches.
- You review, analyze and optimize technical specifications in close collaboration with the relevant internal teams and develop suitable sourcing alternatives.
- You develop category strategies and derive targeted sourcing strategies from them.
- You contribute to the continuous development of a sustainable and value-adding supplier base and support supplier evaluations and audits.
- You prepare and follow up on supplier negotiations and conduct them in close coordination with the relevant internal teams. You also contribute to the negotiation of framework agreements and support the resolution of contractual issues to safeguard our supply chain.

Your mission
As Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will drive strategic and operational procurement in close collaboration with the relevant internal teams, with a particular focus on indirect materials and services in the battery recycling industry.
Your profile
- You bring several years of professional experience in procurement, ideally covering both operational and strategic purchasing.
- You hold a degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable discipline, or have an equivalent qualification, such as technical vocational training combined with further training as a master craftsperson or state-certified technician.
- You are highly proficient in SAP S/4HANA or another ERP system and have experience implementing and further developing SAP in procurement.
- You have sound knowledge of contract law and apply it confidently in procurement. Drawing on this expertise, you lead negotiations with confidence and use your strong negotiation skills to achieve sustainable and viable agreements.
- You bring a solid technical understanding and strong analytical skills, enabling you to structure and evaluate complex requirements and technical specifications.
- You are fluent in German and English and foster effective collaboration with internal and external partners through clear communication.
- You work proactively and independently and are used to keeping track of priorities in a dynamic environment.
- You are willing to travel occasionally.
