- You shape and optimize our integrated Supply Chain Management and Order Fulfillment organization, connecting end-to-end material flows, customer order management, supplier integration, and third-party logistics partnerships.
- You act as the central interface between customers, Sales, Operations, Production, and Procurement to ensure reliable order execution and on-time delivery.
- You manage end-to-end order fulfillment, aligning customer requirements, demand forecasts, production plans, and material availability through S&OP/IBP.
- You develop scalable warehouse concepts and define inbound and outbound logistics for our new site, including transport concepts, packaging specifications, handling standards, delivery processes, and KPIs.
- You establish standards for the storage, handling, and transportation of batteries and hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with ADR, IMDG, IATA, and other applicable requirements.
- You support the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA-based processes and system interfaces and manage inventory and material availability to balance customer requirements, operational continuity, working capital, and supply chain resilience.
- You drive continuous improvement by developing and standardizing processes, SOPs, workflows, and performance management systems. You also lead stakeholder meetings and prepare strategic presentations, business cases, performance reviews, and decision briefs.

Your mission
In this role you help build a reliable, scalable supply chain for our battery recycling operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and delivered on time.
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production Technology, or a comparable field.
- You have at least three years of professional experience in supply chain management, S&OP, operations, or manufacturing, ideally in an industrial, chemical, or automotive environment.
- You are familiar with the handling of hazardous materials and relevant regulations including ADR and REACH.
- You have experience with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable ERP system, particularly in supply chain, inventory, order management, or fulfillment.
- You have strong project management skills and a proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation.
- You approach challenges analytically, use data to inform decisions, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and are motivated by the opportunity to help build a circular battery economy.
- You build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- You communicate professionally and fluently in German, both written and spoken. A good command of English is also required.
- You are willing to travel between our sites in Aachen, Dormagen, and Wernberg-Köblitz as needed.

With an integrated network of sites, we bring together research and development at our headquarters in Aachen, dismantling and mechanical processing in Wernberg-Köblitz, and hydrometallurgical processing in Dormagen (in ramp-up).
