Project Manager (m/f/d) Public Relations

Your mission

You will be actively involved in strategic projects in the field of Public Relations and independently supervise sub-areas, e.g. in the context of funding projects, market analyses or research on regulatory framework conditions.
You will provide support in all relevant areas of responsibility throughout the entire duration of the project, from setting up the project organization to defining objectives and completing the project.
You form the intersection to external and internal project stakeholders.
You will set up processes for the topic of strategic funding and ensure that funds are drawn down in collaboration with internal intersections.
You coordinate the work in professional associations and work closely with those responsible for external communication.
You will be involved in strategy development for the Public Relations department and take on your own sub-projects in the medium to long term.

Your profile

You have a degree in economics, industrial engineering, political science or similar.
Ideally you have 1-3 years of experience in project management, experience in the field of funding management is an advantage.
You enjoy supporting projects and their stakeholders in a dynamic environment over the entire project duration.
You convince with your structured and solution-oriented thinking and acting as well as your professional creativity.
You also have excellent communication skills.
You work in a team-oriented manner and have high quality standards for your own performance.
Business fluent written and spoken German and English round off your profile.

About us

cylib is a research-based German scaleup for holistic battery recycling - starting from discharging to recovery of all components of the lithium battery - that was founded in Aachen in 2022 by three visionary founders, including a female CEO.

Our process

The cylib process offers a complete end-to-end process from battery pack to green battery material by employing a combination of mechanical and thermal pre-treatments and an innovative water-based lithium and graphite recovery. Unlike incumbents, cylib can therefore recover battery materials such as lithium, graphite or manganese. The process was developed over several years of research at the renown RWTH Aachen University and offers an efficient, resource- and climate friendly recovery of all battery materials from end-of-life batteries.

cylib's technology enables the recovery of all battery components regardless of whether it is an end-of-life battery or not. Recovery of green secondary raw materials from the cylib process enables the realization of the true Circular Economy on the European market.

Deine Aufgaben

Du arbeitest aktiv an strategischen Projekten im Bereich Public Relations mit und betreust eigenverantwortlich Teilbereiche, bspw. im Rahmen von Fördermittelprojekten, Marktanalysen oder Recherchen zu regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen.
Du unterstützt in allen relevanten Aufgabenbereichen über die gesamte Projektlaufzeit vom Aufbau der Projektorganisation, über Zielsetzung bis zum Abschluss.
Du bildest die Schnittstelle zu externen wie internen Projektstakeholdern.
Für das Thema strategische Fördermittel setzt du Prozesse auf und stellst in Zusammenarbeit mit internen Schnittstellen den Mittelabruf sicher.
Du koordinierst die Arbeit in Fachverbänden und arbeitest dabei eng mit den Verantwortlichen für die externe Kommunikation zusammen.
Du bist in die Strategieentwicklung für den Bereich Public Relations eingebunden und übernimmst mittel- bis langfristig eigene Teilprojekte.

Dein Profil

Du verfügst über ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Politikwissenschaften oder ähnliches.
Du bringst idealerweise 1-3 Jahre Erfahrung aus dem Projektmanagement mit, Erfahrungen aus dem Bereich Fördermittelmanagement sind von Vorteil.
Du hast Freude daran Projekte und deren Stakeholder in einem dynamischen Umfeld über die gesamte Projektlaufzeit zu begleiten.
Du überzeugst durch dein strukturiertes und lösungsorientiertes Denken und Handeln sowie deine fachliche Kreativität.
Darüber hinaus bringst du eine hohe kommunikative Kompetenz mit.
Du arbeitest teamorientiert und hast hohe Qualitätsansprüche an deine eigene Leistung.
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden dein Profil ab.

Unser Prozess

Der cylib-Prozess bietet einen kompletten End-to-End-Prozess vom Batteriepack bis zum grünen Batteriematerial, indem es eine Kombination aus mechanischer und thermischer Vorbehandlung sowie eine innovative Lithium- und Graphitrückgewinnung auf Wasserbasis einsetzt. Im Gegensatz zu den etablierten Unternehmen kann cylib daher Batteriematerialien wie Lithium, Graphit oder Mangan zurückgewinnen. Das Verfahren wurde in mehrjähriger Forschungsarbeit an der RWTH Aachen entwickelt und bietet eine effiziente, ressourcen- und klimafreundliche Rückgewinnung aller Batteriematerialien aus Altbatterien.

Die Technologie von cylib ermöglicht die Rückgewinnung aller Batteriekomponenten, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um eine End-of-Life-Batterie oder Produktionsausschuss handelt. Die Rückgewinnung grüner Sekundärrohstoffe aus dem cylib-Prozess ermöglicht die Verwirklichung einer echten Kreislaufwirtschaft auf dem europäischen Markt.
